Today,I met a assemble of my religion.There were one of people asked me a queation,he asked 'I'll test you.Can you translate the sentence into English?'
「我以前可以煮菜，但是我現在不行。」
And now I'm recalling my answer,I'm feeling how foolish I am.
My answer was'I used to cook,but I can't now.'
Then the person pointed out the mistakes for correction,he said 'If we want to state an ability,we usaully use the word "can",it also represents "always to do",so we don't say that.'
In English,we should say 'I could cook,but I can't now.'
That's really good for my grammar.
